     There are many women who have short hair but would like to wear it long for events like weddings or dinner parties. So many women buy hair extensions. These hair extensions, clip on to the under portion of your hair so that one can see. Celebrities use them all the time, people like Paris Hilton, Jessica Simpson, Halle Berry have all been known to wear hair extensions, it makes them look better for parties and premiers.

If you just got a hair cut and it is too short and you want a little bit of a longer look to your hair then hair extensions are the way to go. You can go to a salon and have them do it or they do sell extensions in drug stores and Wal-Mart. The extension themselves do not cost a lot of money but of you go to a salon to have the extensions for a long period of time it may cost a bit more.

You can get them taken out whenever you want. There are clip ons and they come in brown, black, blonde and redhead. There are different shades so you can find the shade that closes resembles your hair color; they also come in straight hair, wavy hair or curly hair as well. The hair extensions are like partial wigs, they are fun to wear and can change your appearance for a special event.
